Past members of the Scotch College Pipe Band are invited to attend the 47th Annual Gathering and Marching on Friday, 23 October 2026 on Chapel Oval Senior School, commencing at 8.30am.

As in previous years, those members who wish to participate in the Marching are encouraged to do so.  The tunes for the day will be selected from:

• 10th Battalion LHI
• Bonnie Dundee
• Dovecote Park
• All the Blue Bonnets Over the Border
• The Steam Boat
• Scotland the Brave

Members who do not have instruments should not be discouraged from joining in.  All are welcome to play or simply march along with the band.

Tuning up commences at 7.45am at Chapel Oval.  Limited parking is available at Collegians House (Building number 3 on the attached map) and the Gooch Pavilion (Building number 50 on the attached map) and there are some parking bays along Claremont Crescent.  However we strongly recommend using public transport or travelling by taxi or Uber to ensure an easy arrival.

An invitation is also extended to lunch afterwards at the Ocean Beach Hotel for those who would like to head down after morning tea for a quick bite to eat.
