As part of our unit of inquiry, 'Where We Are in Place and Time', Year 2 students will be participating in an excursion to Woodbridge House at Guildford.

This excursion will support our learning around the Central Idea:  Skills and attributes of significant people may make a difference to individuals and communities.

During the visit, students will explore a significant historical place and gain insights into what life was like in the past. They will have opportunities to compare past and present and consider how innovation and change have influenced the way we live today. The experience will help bring our classroom inquiries to life and deepen students' understanding of the impact that significant people and their contributions can have on society.

Students will need to:

- Wear their sports uniform

- Wear their school hat

- Bring a water bottle

- Bring recess and a packed lunch

- Their own sunscreen if the school brand is not appropriate

- Carry their belongings in a small backpack
