This term, the Year 3 cohort will be attending a unique education programme with the Scotch College Outdoor Learning team at Ern Halliday Recreation Camp. It is a full day programme that will see the boys work collaboratively with one another and engage in outdoor learning activities such as archery, orienteering and various team building games and activities. This will be an important start to their future involvement in the Outdoor Learning programme at Scotch College.

The details are as follows:

Who: Year 3 students & teachers – Mrs Webster, Miss Creagh, and Mr Shannon and Dr Picknoll (Scotch Outdoor Learning staff)

What: Team Building Games/Archery/Orienteering

Where: Ern Halliday Recreation Camp

When: Wednesday 16 September 8:30am – 3:45pm. Please have your son at school by 8:15am.

Dress: Sport uniform

To Bring: A healthy morning tea, lunch and afternoon snack, water bottle, hat, and sunscreen in a small backpack/carry bag. No school bags required. There will be no canteen or shop facilities available for boys to purchase food. 

Please note: Ern Halliday is an outdoor venue and activities will proceed in most weather conditions, including rain. We ask that students bring a raincoat if wet weather is forecast. A wet weather contingency plan will be in place should conditions require it.)

We will be leaving Scotch College by hire bus at 8:30am and will return by 3:45pm. Please collect your son from Kiss & Drop at 3:45pm. Any updates on a possible late arrival will be sent to parents via the Scotch app.
