Our Kindy students will be participating in an excursion to Lake Galbanaamup (Lake Claremont) as part of our PYP Unit of Inquiry, Sharing the Planet.

During the excursion, students will enjoy a guided walk along the lake paths, where they will observe the local environment and explore the plants and animals that call the lake home. This hands-on learning experience will support their understanding of how living things grow and change, how they contribute to our world, and how we can care for and respect them. It also provides a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with, develop a sense of belonging in, and enjoy their local community.

The excursion will help students make meaningful real-world connections to our central idea: Understanding, caring for, and respecting our world. Through observing, discussing, and engaging with the natural environment, students will deepen their appreciation of the living things around them and explore how their own actions can help protect and care for our shared environment.
