Year 3 Brownes Dairy Excursion
Time

Date
Thursday, September 3, 2026
Presenter
Alison Webster
The Year 3 students will visit Brownes Dairy in Balcatta, where they will meet a farmer, learn about how cows are cared for and milked, and see how dairy products are processed and packaged.
Students will also participate in hands-on learning in the Innovation Kitchen, exploring food safety, quality, and simple dairy-based experiments. This excursion supports the Year 3 Science and HASS curriculum by helping students understand how living things provide resources for people, how food products are produced, and how industries meet the needs of the community.
