Yr 4 Compass Suitcase Circus Kicks off Compass Leadership Journey.

Year 4 students will be participating in their first collaboration as part of the Year 4 & 5 Compass Leadership Programme with St Hilda’s. This engaging event will take place at Scotch College with the St Hilda’s students travelling to join us for the day.

The programme will feature an interactive performance followed by a circuit of hands-on circus skills, designed to foster teamwork, resilience, and leadership. The performance includes inspiring demonstrations and learning techniques, with student volunteers from the audience assisting in some of the circus acts. The focus of the show is on working together, respect, perseverance, and, most importantly having fun!

Following the performance, all students will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on session, trying out a variety of exciting circus skills such as juggling beanbags and scarves, spinning plates, diabolos, flower sticks, balancing clubs, and hoops. This format provides a wonderful, shared experience for all participants.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect with their peers from St Hilda’s while developing new skills and enjoying a positive and dynamic learning environment to kick off their Compass Leadership Journey
