Year 6 Music | Open Rehearsal

Parents of Year 6 boys are invited to attend a special Open Rehearsal.

Wednesday 28 May | 8.55 - 10.15am | MacKellar Hall

Come along and join our Wednesday music class, observe how we rehearse, and see how far our year 6 musicians have come in their first semester of music making. 

We will be conducting our class as normal; however, parents are warmly invited to join the band and sit alongside their son while he plays. It promises to be an eye‑opening (and ear‑opening!) experience for all involved.

All are welcome to attend the post‑rehearsal talk beginning at 9.45am. The Coordinator of the Year 6 Music Program, Rhiannon Hodgson, will discuss how the program operates, as well as the opportunities and expectations for students.

A short Q&A session will follow in Room 27.107 (the music classroom next to MacKellar Hall) from 9.45–10.15am, after the all‑in band session concludes.
