The Year 4 boys will be competing in a JPSSA Rugby Carnival at the Hale School playing fields.  Please note, this is a touch rugby competition, no tackling will take place. The boys will compete in a round robin tournament against Hale and Christ Church. The Carnival will begin at 1.00pm and conclude at 2.30pm. Boys will then return to the Junior School for the remainder of the day. 

Parents are welcome to come and enjoy the carnival and take their son home at the conclusion of the carnival. If you do wish to take your son from the venue, it is a requirement that you confirm this personally with your son’s classroom teacher before you leave so each boy is accounted for.

Boys are to be dressed in their sport uniform with their tracksuit, if it is a cool day. Other items that will be needed are:

• Water bottle
• Hat
• Sunscreen (will also be provided)
• Boys are permitted to wear moulded studded shoes on the day, jogging shoes may also be worn
• Mouthguard: no mouthguard, no play

Your sons have been working on their Rugby skills during their Physical Education lessons in the lead up to the carnival and are excited to participate in the upcoming games. Please note, this is a participation carnival and scoring does not occur.
