As part of the Year 12 Biology (IB) course the students will be participating in an overnight camp to Dryandra Woodland. They will be looking at threats to our native animal biodiversity and how government departments such as Parks and Wildlife are working to bring these animals back from the brink. Students will complete a number of activities run by local Parks and Wildlife officers including setting and checking mammal traps. They will also visit Barna Mia, a centre for breeding and rehabilitating endangered native animalsm, in addition to experiencing a marsupial encounter at the Perth Hills Education Centre.
