The Aqua Fun Day for students in Years 1 and 2 is a blend of swimming races and fun aquatic games. The activities are decided based on the boys' water familiarisation and swimming abilities. 

The intention of the day is for the boys to experience a fun morning in the pool, practising some of the skills and strokes learnt during their swimming programme. There will be no House points recorded and ribbons are not awarded. Each boy will be involved in both swimming and water games.  As there is a varied level of swimming abilities, staff will closely supervise during all activities.

Who:          Years 1 and 2

Where:       Scotch Swimming Pool, shallow end

When:        Tuesday, 25 November, 9.00am - 11.00am

To bring:     Water bottle, bathers, rash vest, hat, towel, goggles and a healthy snack for morning tea. A warm jumper or swimming gown to wear in between races.

Boys are to arrive at school dressed in their summer sport uniform. We recommend the boys swim in their rash shirts and follow our Sun Smart Policy - ensuring they are wearing a shirt, hat and shorts if not competing in an event. Boys are to have sun screen applied from home and we will remind them to reapply throughout the morning.

The Senior School Canteen will supply hot and cold drinks for parents to purchase while watching the carnival. We ask that you don’t purchase items for your son to consume during the carnival. 

All the boys will return to school after the completion of the carnival for normal recess and classes will resume from Period 3 to the end of the day.
