The annual Scotch College Middle School Inter-House Athletics Carnival will be held on the playing fields on Thursday 28 August 2025. The programme is attached, and additional information is below. 

Important Information

• This event is compulsory for all Year 6, 7 and 8 students. On the carnival day, all students must arrive promptly at school and gather in their regular PCG for attendance at 8.25am.
• Students should wear the PE uniform along with their House shirt to school.
• It is highly recommended that students bring a sports bag for the day containing a water bottle, a hat, sunscreen, and personal medical necessities.
• The canteen will only accept online orders, which will be delivered to the finish line tent during recess and lunch.
• No over-the-counter sales will exist, as students cannot visit the canteen during the day.
• The Pipe Band Parent group will sell items during break times.
• Students need to familiarise themselves with the event details and have their 3-digit athlete identification number on their hand.
• Students have received an email containing the track and field heats, as well as event times.
• Students are to remain for the entire duration of the carnival and will be dismissed after presentations.
• Year 7 and 8 students will not have PSA Athletics training that afternoon.

All events will occur on the carnival day except for the Year 7 Triple Jump, which will take place during a lunch break prior to this date. Due to the packed nature of the carnival schedule, we cannot fit all events on the same day. The required students who have selected Triple Jump will be sent a calendar invite via Outlook. Results from this event will be announced during the carnival. These students are to wear their PE uniform to school on the day of the Triple Jump event, even if they do not have a PE class.
