All Year 8 students will have the opportunity to go to the South West Region for their Outdoor Learning and Adventure Expedition Programme

Outdoor Learning & Adventure Experience

We strongly believe in the benefits of taking young people outside of their everyday lives and giving them the opportunity to learn more about themselves and others in the natural environment. Our OLA team have put together a programme which will challenge students, whilst supporting them at the same time. The students will attend Scotch’s Moray campsite in Dwellingup in the allocated groups below:

• Group 1 (8.1 & 8.2) Monday 10 November – Saturday 15 November (Week 5)
• Group 2 (8.3 & 8.4) Monday 17 November – Saturday 22 November (Week 6)
• Group 3 (8.5, 8.6 & 8.7) Monday 24 November – Saturday 29 November (Week 7)

Respectful Relationships – Significant Male Event

To end the Outdoor Learning Experience, we ask that a significant male makes the trip to Moray on Saturday morning to take part in an event. Students will return home on Saturday afternoon with their Significant Male. Please save the date that is relevant to your son:

• Group 1 (8.1 & 8.2) Saturday 15 November (Week 5)
• Group 2 (8.3 & 8.4) Saturday 22 November (Week 6)
