Event Description
Year 10 (Academic 2026) Bibbulmun Track Expedition
Bibbulmun Track
Date & Time
All Day Event, Sunday, October 19, 2025 - , Thursday, October 23, 2025
The experiential learning the Bibbulmun Track provides cannot be measured and is undertaken in stages by boarders from Year 7–12, the 1,000km walking trail from the Perth Hills to Albany.
These experiences bond students for life. Long after our boarders leave school, many still recall their Bibbulmun experience as their most memorable. The shared experience not only builds the community and culture of the group but, most importantly, allows the students to discover what it takes to develop independence and resilience.
Growth
Students gain self-awareness, relationship skills and responsible decision-making abilities each and every time they step out onto the track.
Social
Students must learn to work together as an expedition team; discover each other’s strengths and capitalise on them; and communicate, support and mentor each other.
Educational
Our boarders return from each journey with the practical experience of applying geographical, historical, scientific and outdoor education concepts.
End to Enders
The track engenders a great sense of achievement in its accomplishment. The ceremony to welcome our ‘End to Enders’, as they finally complete the 1,000km track, is one of our proudest traditions and is a wonderful privilege for our Boarding students.
