Event Description
All Year 10 students will undertake academic testing as part of the College's process implemented to assist in monitoring student progress. The testing will be conducted by Academic Assessment Services. This group run tests in numeracy and literacy in a similar format to NAPLAN in schools throughout Australia. The information will be used to guide us in helping students to decide on the most appropriate courses for Year 11 and 12.
This assessment is not part of the OLNA programme and will involve all students in Year 10. If a student misses this assessment there will be a follow up session for anyone who is absent.
Students should arrive at the testing with the right equipment and on time. This is also good practice for future examinations. Mobile phones and devices should be locked safely in lockers before entering the Dickinson Centre.
Students need to bring;
- A black or blue pen
- A scientific calculator (the calculator they used in Year 9)
- and may take a water bottle.
All other equipment will be provided.
