Academic, Music and Boarding Scholarships

Each year Scotch College offers a number of scholarships for Australian residents entering Year 7 in the following year. Apply via the link for our Year 7, 2026 Academic, Music and Boarding scholarships.

All students attending the testing day must be registered. Please note registrations close on 7 February (remote or overseas applications) or 12 February (applicants sitting at Scotch College).

The examination details are as follows:

Venue: Scotch College Middle School [Building 23] - please gather on the Quadrangle lawn between buildings 24 and 29.

Arrive by: 8:20am
Conclude: 12:30pm

A light morning tea will be provided for your son on the day, however, if your child has special dietary requirements please ensure that they bring their own morning tea with them.

To avoid any unnecessary anxiety for your child, we advise parents to arrive at the School on or before the requested time. Please take into account that parking can sometimes be difficult.

Students arriving late will not automatically be admitted into the testing area.

Your child will need:

• two pens either blue or black (NOT RED). water in a clear bottle. Students are permitted to wear analogue watches only.

All other testing requirements are provided by AAS.

Your child must not bring into the testing venue:

• Bags, calculators, pencil cases, Apple or smart watches/digital devices, rulers, scrap paper, books, internet devices of any kind, stop watches or watches with alarms.

Applicants must be registered and complete an academic entrance exam.
